Pricing

£55-75/m installed for standard 1800mm panel runs. Closeboard panels (heavier timber, longer life) sit at the top of that range; overlap panels at the bottom. Both come with concrete posts and gravel boards as standard - no cheaper timber-post version. Concrete lasts longer, holds panels straighter in wind.

Timing

A 20m panel run: 1 working day. Full-day install typical on standard garden boundaries. Rear-only replacement (keeping side posts): quicker still.

Wingham-specific notes

Panel fencing is the fleet default on the newer developments off Guilton, on rear boundaries in Wickhambreaux and Littlebourne, and on any garden boundary where a fast, tidy replacement is wanted. Not the right choice on High Street CA frontages - see picket or closeboard at 1000mm for those.

Wind exposure. On the Preston-side gales, closeboard panels hold up better than overlap - the closeboard face is denser and does not lift in the strongest wind.
