CT3

Where I work.

Wingham village itself, plus the CT3 villages around it along the A257 and the Little Stour valley. Six villages, one contractor, one consistent standard.

Wingham sits on the A257 between Canterbury and Sandwich. The patch runs east to Ash, south-west into the orchard-belt at Staple, north to Preston on the Wantsum edge, and west along the Little Stour into Wickhambreaux and Littlebourne. Dover District Council covers most of the patch (Wingham and east); Canterbury City Council covers Littlebourne. Different planning authorities matter on Conservation Area and Listed Building Consent work - flagged at quote stage.

Wingham CT3

The village itself - wide Conservation Area High Street, Red Lion and market square, mixed period cottages and outlying farms.

Ash CT3

The larger village three miles east along the A257 - period cottages, newer developments off Guilton, and paddock boundaries backing onto orchard.

Staple CT3

The small settlement south-west of Wingham off Church Lane - orchard-country cottages, converted farm plots, longer rural boundaries.

Wickhambreaux CT3

The picture-book Conservation Area village on the Little Stour west of Wingham. Listed stock around the green, careful timber choices on protected frontages.

Preston CT3

The village on the A257 north of Wingham, farmland edges and the drop down towards the Wantsum. Longer orchard-boundary runs common here.

Littlebourne CT3

The Nailbourne-valley village west of Wingham towards Canterbury - period cottages, extensive garden boundaries, mixed stock.
